A proven champion in SCORE's Pro Moto Ironman division, Jose Armando Carrasco has established himself as one of Baja's most consistent podium contenders through nearly a decade of elite desert racing. The Rosarito-based motorcycle racer claimed the coveted SCORE Baja 500 Pro Moto Ironman class championship in 2017, demonstrating his mastery of the challenging Ensenada desert terrain that has humbled countless competitors.

Carrasco's championship season included an impressive third-place class finish at the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, proving his ability to excel in the world's premier desert race. His consistency at the highest level continued with back-to-back second-place class finishes at the SCORE Baja 500 in both 2018 and 2019, showcasing the sustained excellence that separates true champions from occasional winners.

If the Pro Moto Ironman riders are considered the heroes of desert racing, Josear Carrasco is the one guy all Ironman riders look up to. Carrasco began racing SCORE in 2009 and entered into his first Pro Moto Ironman in 2016. “I got into motorcycle racing because of my dad,” said Carrasco. “He raced when he was young and has been around the industry his whole life. I started racing bicycles and at the age of six, I got my first dirt bike.
